My comments on tutoring GED : I have experience with this subject.

I teach with the learning style of the student. I am able to change things up when I see the student losing interest. My manner is calm and patient.
With over 20 years of tutoring experience, I am able to help with many subjects and all ages. I have worked with students from kindergarten through college in many subjects. I have also tutored adults, worked with home-school children, and tutored in different test formats. Study skills is another area of experience.

I've taught and tutored both accounting and math on the college level. I'm a CPA by training , and my resume includes working in public accounting and Federal and state government. I've taught/tutored math since 1981, and have taught both accounting and math to studewnts of varying demographics. I've been told that I have an ability to "demystify" many math concepts to increase student knowledge. I've researched "math anxiety" and try to help students grasp various math content ares relevant to their needs. Developmental math is a one of my strong points. I have demonstrated experience in GED, ASVAB and TEAS. I'm certified in SAT math ans SAT reading. My rates are reasonable which I'm willing to negotiate given the right circumstances. Experienced high school and middle school math tutor

I have taught high school math for the past 4 years involving Algebra I and Algebra II ( at various levels) and Geometry and Pre-Calculus. I have worked as a tutor for the past 6 years in these subject areas as well. I have also worked with middle school students who were taking basic math or Pre-Algebra courses. I took a course at UNH to learn strategies and techniques involved with tutoring.

In the classroom I rely on traditional lecture, supplemented by Powerpoint presentations, animations, and lists and diagrams on the white board. I usually assign a research paper. In the last few semesters I've implemented through Blackboard some online testing, as well as tutorial "homework" quizzes, where the students get feedback directing them to coverage of particular sections of the text.
