I am the mother of 3 children and an elementary education teacher. Currently I am teaching 2nd grade but I've been teaching for 5 years and have experience in grades k,1, 2, 3 and 5. I've also had substitute and tutoring experience with grades k-12. I have experience with special needs both through my own children and within the classroom. In addition to a Bachelor's Degree I have 6 additional credit hours towards my Master's Degree and am currently enrolled in a 3 hour course. I scored in the top 15% nation wide of all teachers taking the Praxis and PLT II in 2011 and am considered a highly qualified educator. I believe every child can succeed in school. I normally teach with question/answer types of learning styles. Note cards are very useful when teaching others, depending on the course that is being taught. I am a current senior at Marshall University, where I am finishing my last semester. I will be graduating in May with a Biology degree, and a minor in both Chemistry and Psychology.
