Translating Bosnian/English during ESL classes for adults and tutored K-12 students after school. *Tutored and taught international college students and adults working on their GEDs at the Adult Learning Center of Bowling Green Technical college for a year. *Tutored college English and Chemistry for five months at the American University in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) during study abroad term. *As the eldest of five children, I was a private tutor for my siblings from K-12 and even some college. As a graduate of a small liberal arts college, I have spent many hours volunteering to help tutor my classmates in both biology and the humanities. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology. I have learned extensive grammatical skills through my school's intensive general studies program. I am confident in my ability to tutor students in mathematics, science, English and the humanities at the K-12 level and biology and English at the college level.

A Little Bit About Me...

The key to being a good teacher is being patient. I believe children learn best in a positive and stress-free environment. When a child does good on the work then I praise them and if they make a mistake then I explain to them the error in the homework. When I was a small child, I remember my teacher being patient and helping me along the way. I feel that although children learn in different ways and different paces that being patient with children is a universal and effective teaching style.
