Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects! "Excellent tutor!" - Annetta, Lexington, KY on 12/29/12 My 11 year old son had brought home a poor grade in pre-algrbra. I was beside myself. I knew he was intelligent but obviously was missing connections that could be made with one-on-one help. I've always helped my son with his homework but I'm not a teacher, and especially not math one! I decided to hire a tutor and found Devin. Thank goodness I did. My son went to an A within 3 tutoring sessions!!! As an adult returning to college myself I understand there isn't a price that can be put on a solid educational foundation, especially math since it only builds on what you previously have learned. I completed all of my field work in school 2006-2008 and completed my student teaching in 2009. During this time, I planned and taught lessons in all subjects to grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Along with teaching lessons, I also tracked students progress, and worked with students one on one to help struggling students succeed. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always believed that each child is truly unique. I However do not believe that all education and forms of it, should be uniform. Working with children with special needs has allowed me to be able to get to know the student and adjust the curriculum so that the child will be able to benefit the most from!
