I have been in the education field for over 20 years. In 1995 I built my own art studio working with adults and children. I worked with brain-injured, autistic, ADD, ADHD, dyslexic, gifted, as well as reg. ed. students. I returned to complete my teaching degree in 2001, graduating from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO in 2005. But I quickly learned that school is not easy for everybody. What I found though, is that if you provide a fun, safe environment for kids to learn in, they will learn.
