Making Learning Fun and Easy!

I have a bachelors degree in Economics with a concentration in mathematics. I have been tutoring all of my life. I've tutored children, college students, and adults. I've tutored mathematics, grammar, reading, writing, and the military entrance exam. I tutor all levels of mathematics up through Calculus. I would love to help you learn and understand at your own pace.
My teaching style is to move at the students pace - however slowly or quickly that may be. I don't mind being asked the same questions. In fact, I believe that there is no such thing as a bad question, and that a student should ask a question as many times as s/he feels it is necessary to do so.

I enjoy teaching any age student, but more than that I get satisfaction when that student attains their goal. I believe in using the Socratic method of teaching and allowing the student to get their own answers rather than just telling them. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I then started my own company as a Spanish instructor. I taught Spanish to medical professionals and at the local preschools in the Boone, NC area. Last school year I taught high school Spanish. I currently work as a Spanish/ESL instructor at a college in the evenings. In addition, I have tutored high school and college students in Spanish.
I am passionate about teaching. I prefer teaching foreign language through a hands-on approach. Everyone is capable of learning, we just have to find their learning style.
