During my time with the students I noticed that some were able to learn by a verbal approach and others were more visual. During my schooling, I have earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as a master's in Library and Information Studies. In addition I have teaching certificates for both fields as well as Biology. I've held Library, Biology, General Science, English and Math teaching positions. I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.
As a UNCP alumnus, I currently hold a BS in Biology. I have tutored peers in the past during my second year at UNCP. Subjects that I am familiar are science and math.
