I enjoy teaching children and adults of all ages, although most of my experience has come from teaching college age kids. I believe that everyone learns in different ways and one aspect of teaching I enjoy the most is working with someone to find the method of learning that is best for them. As an undergraduate student at Central Washington University, I was self motivated and involved in various activities. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Sociology and BA in Law and Justice. I have a BA in History with a minor in Archaeology, and am a member of two honor societies. As a history major, my fields of expertise include research, critical analysis, and writing. From 2006 to 2009, I tutored writing in all subjects at a local community college. As a tutor, I believe it is my job to facilitate the individual thinking processes and strengths of each student. I am patient, attentive to students' concerns, and comfortable with many different learning styles.
