Only a handful of students in the entire nation accomplish a perfect score on both tests each year, but practicing specific strategies and keeping in mind certain tips can dramatically improve performance. SAT - Math is one of my top subjects!

I have been tutoring professional for six years and teaching for five. I am certified by the state of Tennessee to teach secondary math. I have worked with all levels of students, from remedial to gifted. I have worked from age 7 through adult learners and had a positive impact at each age and level.
I spend much of time making the student understand that it is okay to feel behind in a subject and that the student should believe in himself. This belief is built on continued practice on fundamentals that I watch them go through but only ask questions when I see them going astray. Everyone needs to learn the material for his or herself. I challenge the students by raising a question or writing a problem on the board and asking students to share their ideas with me . This provides the students with the opportunity to think about the problem on their own, to determine their own strategy. During the discussion, they also have the advantage of seeing other ways of approaching the problem. A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping people. I feel that a student can always teach a student better than a teacher. Their teaching style is a lot forgiving and the student is less intimidated knowing that someone else has been where he/she is currently. It also takes a great deal of patience to teach someone something and a forgiving nature. I excel at both of those.
