The most basic tools to getting a good education, I believe, are having a firm mastery of reading and writing. Throughout my education, I have always excelled in all aspects of reading and writing, and I believe I have done so because I genuinely enjoy reading and writing. These skills have played an indispensable part in every class I ever took in college and even outside of school. Today, reading and writing are the most fundamental tools I use in my job as a judicial clerk. I took many grammar and proofreading classes in college because I believe that having a mastery of the English language is fundamental to succeeding as a student and in the working world. I love teaching and working with all children. I seem to have a great raport with children and can communicate with them very well. Many children have no one with whom can sit down with them and give them the one on one time and attention that it takes to help them to achieve their academic levels. I truly try to reach all of my students. My love of learning and love of working with students has motivated me to continue my education. I have earned a BA in Mus Ed (k-12) and a MA in Counseling, both school counseling and community agency counseling. I also am a private piano instructor as well as the Minister of Music at my church.
