I finished my BA with concentrations in management and accounting at Troy University in 2007,then worked for three years in an Accounting Office. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. I supervised one to three employees, trained them and audited their work. I have never officially tutored a student, but I have trained employees on accounting principals and how to write to the IRS and clients, as well as helping out friends and fellow students. I would like to tutor in reading, writing, history, business, and math.

The academic program for these students was conducted exclusively in the Spanish language. I have received extensive education in technical terminology, lesson plan preparation, classroom conduct, and teaching aid operation. As a high school substitute teacher, I was able to implement my military experience into civilian use with a high degree of success.
I am a native of Puerto Rico. I learned English as a second language at the age of 11 years old. A Little Bit About Me...

Having just graduated in May 2008, I feel lucky to have already experienced a wide range of instructional opportunities. Last fall, I was employed as a Teacher's Aide and Learning Lab Facilitator. Serving in these capacities have provided me with amazing opportunities to experience the "Response to Intervention" program, IEP's, inclusion classrooms, as well as one-on-one and small group tutoring. In the Learning Lab, I taught both English and Math. In January, I was employed as an 8th grade Reading teacher.
