My comments on tutoring Algebra : I am KY and TN state certified in middle school math. I taught developmental math and college math at two year colleges. I tutor Algebra most every day. I have always possessed a love of helping others to learn. It brings me great joy to witness when an individual grasps a concept which they have been having difficulty with. I tend to use a demonstrator style of teaching by first working through a problem slowly while asking the student questions to ensure that they understand what I am doing.
