While attending Lenoir Community College, I was named to the Dean's List several semesters, named Outstanding Student of the Month, and listed in Who's Who Among Junior College Students. I graduated with an Associate in Arts Degrees in English and in Elementary, Middle Grades and Special Education. I am currently employed by the State of North Carolina as a Youth Counselor where I have extensive experience with students with diagnosises such as ADD,ADHD and ODD. I am an experienced Substitute Teacher for the Lenoir County School System and formerly was employed by Sylvan Learning Centers as a tutor for grades 3 through 12. A Little Bit About Me...

I have spent the last 10 years as a student and as an instructor. I realized that I needed computer skills and decided to get the skills necessary to survive. While I was a student, I acted as a tutor. This reminded me how much I love teaching. After I graduated from Nash, I began working as an adjunct instructor. In this capacity, I have worked in all levels of education. I enjoy corporate training and immured instruction.
