Having a great thirst for knowledge, I was torn between Accounting or Engineering to major in, in college. Having a passion for numbers and electrical design, I chose electrical engineering, where I received a BS Degree in 1995. Still wanting to be involved in Accounting, I obtained my MBA degree in 2003 and a professional certification in Bookkeeping in 2009. During my undergraduate days, in a work study program, I tutored college students in Algebra to Calculus and Chemistry and Biology. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always wanted to teach. When I was a child I would round up the kids in my neighborhood and make them do lessons that I created. I do remember they did not like that. I went to college and earned a BS in Biology always knowing that I would eventually teach the sciences. I was an excellent student and have always found pride in myself on my ability to communicate with clearity. I have one year of tutoring experience at the k-12 level. Students can be and are easily frustrated with work that is either beyond their ability or more advanced. Frustration can be either eliminated or reduced when students have a better understanding of their work.
