A Little Bit About Me...
I believe that being an effective tutor involves tailoring my style to the way the student learns. That is why I pay close attention to what seems effective for each student. I begin by allowing them to ask questions, then answer the questions as directly as possible, and from there I adapt to what seems to work for each student.
I have a degree in chemistry that included many hours of work in a lab setting, and I also worked for 10 years as a chemist in various types of labs. This experience has given me a solid understanding of chemistry. Through my education and work experience, I have learned how to think through and solve chemistry problems.
