As a graduate,I believe that learner-oriented teaching promotes learning that is both purposeful and enduring. I have earned two masters degrees, MBA (Master Business Administration) and MPA (Master Public Administration); which has given me a broader understanding in business. In addition, I was a adjunct instructor for year and mentor as well.

I started teaching professionally in Tampa, Florida in 1992. I continued to teach in the Florida Public Schools until 1999 before I returned to school to earn my Master's. Now, I teach English to Adults at Wallace Community College, which I have been doing since 2003. I love what I do. When I got my Master's in 2005, I was able to conduct classroom research which enabled me to reach a deeper level in the principles of both linguistics and the science of learning.
