I have an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology, other wise known as Digital Arts. I made Wedding videos, Websites, and I work as a Graphic Artist at CBS 21. I enjoy helping people anyway I can! I grew up working for my parents in their lawnmower shop and I still help them out even to this day. When I got Diagnosed with burkitt's lymphoma at the age of sixteen, it made me want to help people who just were motivated or just thought they're not good enough. I will do my best to help anyone!

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style with students of all ages is to facilitate their learning as opposed to simply feeding them what I feel is the best response. Students learning is maximized when they can take ownership of and pride in their work. I am very patient. Recognizing that all students learn differently, I seek to ascertain their learning styles and then adjust my tutoring style to that learning style.
I taught and tutored ESL two years before entering law school. I hae taught college classes as an adjunct and later FT professor at Penn College for 25 years. I currently serve as Career Outreach Coordinator for HACC-Lebanon Campus. I have tutored many students, particularly in areas such as writing essays. I also served as a reader for the SAT Writing section, so I am familiar with what they are seeking. I am very proficient in grammar and structure.

I have a passion for working individually with students to find their personal learning styles so that they can succeed and excel academically. What tools I use in the classroom really depends on the student's learning style and course material. Some individuals learn by performing tasks, while others learn by reading or hearing the material to be learned. I use a variety of methods depending on the course such as: PowerPoint, Internet, Lectures, Whiteboard, Student Presentations, and individuals within the community to discuss their current views on health care and their roles in Medical Billing/Coding.

As a Walden University and La Roche College graduate, I was motivated to achieve a high level of excellence in health sciences. I have earned a BS and a master’s degree in Public Health, which enabled me to gain an understanding in the areas of health and sciences. In addition, I have a nursing degree from Africa (French speaking) as well as over 100 credits hours in nursing from Carlow University.
