Education has been a major focus of my life since I was in middle school and decided I wanted to be a teacher. In middle school and high school I worked one-on-one tutoring peers and younger children in all subjects. Throughout college I tutored in an after-school program and worked in an elementary school as an instructional assistant. After graduating I have substituted in K-12 public and private schools in Alaska and in Arizona. I have also taught English in Mexico and in China.
