For the past 10 years, I have worked in my community, helping to better the lives of children. At age 15, I began mentoring young girls and volunteering for a non-profit organization, counseling developmentally delayed children and at-risk youth. I later went on to become a Behavioral Therapist, educating children with autism. My love for children (and passion for education) was the determining factor in the course of my college career. I attained a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2008 (graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.8). A Little Bit About Me...

Children are not students. They are not tools, nor are they pieces of a larger machine. They are people, impressionable and as important as the rest of the world. So, then, why would we expect everyone to learn the same? To teach a child in any discipline requires, in some cases, finesse, and an ability to adapt to their needs. That is what I bring to the table. I believe in a laid-back, friendly approach to tutoring, one where the student's needs are met before those of the classroom.
