Learning can be fun!

My style is a learner centered one. I believe in guided learning, where the students make discoveries themselves while at the same time feeling supported and directed. I enjoy teaching and helping children; after I graduated from Chico State I started my teaching career at Grace Christian Academy teaching sixth grade. I have been substituting for the last 10 years at different K-12 schools in the area. I have spent my spare time coaching baseball and football at both East Nicolaus and Wheatland High School. As a former military child, I have learned to adapt very quickly to any situation and believe every experience is a learning one.
