I tutored before but of course I wasn't paid for it because it was at my old elementary school. I helped children from ages 8-13 which I was only 11 or 12 at the time. I am a pre-med student at MTSU, and I will be graduating with a second degree in Science this year. I have experience tutoring grade school students in math and reading subjects. I also have experience teaching college students in science subjects. Before attending MTSU, I was a professional ballroom dancer and instructor for five years. I have experience teaching ballroom dancing to children as young as five and adults as young as 70!

Try to customize to students intrest in order to keeep attention and make as entertaining as possible. Every child sees things from different eyes. I just teach them how to look. I know that as a student I would hear one explanation that all of a sudden made things so clear and seem so simple. I try to find this for every individual student.

My work ethic and study skills are what have allowed me to earn both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in this field. My greatest strengths, however, are writing and composition, which is why I minored in English.
