In Florida, I worked as first, a preschool teacher, and then was given the opportunity to teach at the high school level as a Language Arts instructor. I taught both regular and honors courses for the 9th and 10th grade levels. We moved to Colorado in June and since that time, I have been teaching as a substitute for Douglas, Cherry Creek, and Jefferson Counties and am also an adjunct professor in English, teaching the Composition courses. I have intensive background in language arts, literature, and writing, and my strength is teaching writing, as well.

I am a retired FBI Agent, with both a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctorate. As an Agent, I learned to speak fluent Russian and speak it to this day. Since retirement six years ago I have been tutoring and coaching my son, who is handicapped. He is highly intelligent but learns a little bit differently, so I have worked hard with him to teach him to read, learn math and grammar. He cannot write, so everything he learns is by memory. He is an excellent student and works hard. My work in the FBI has given me excellent writing skills, my grammar is next to perfect, and I read several books a week. I have most of my certifications in the medical field, but i also graduated High school a semester early and with enough credits to be a sophomore in college. I do prefer to work with elementary school kids, but would also work with middle school as well. I have been raised to know education is the most important thing in ones life.
