As a lifelong learner, I'm always motivated by students who have a curiosity for improving their own skills. I have a BA in liberal arts from Vassar College and a MS in Education from Queens College, which I earned through the full-time work/part-time study New York City Teaching Fellowship. Since I have worked students with a wide variety of learning issues; I feel that I am well prepared to assess and deliver educational materials and instruction to any student. I like teaching. I like teaching individuals. I enjoy the challenge of adapting my style and my information to the unique set of skills and experiences that each individual brings along with them. No two people are alike. So I try not to teach each student as if she is just like the last guy. What is called the "Affective Filter" is what I deal with most: that is the part of each student that is unwilling to try.
