My comments on tutoring Finance : Was not a huge fan of my Finance courses, but always excelled in them because of the math relationship.. Unfortunately I have never gotten to put my finance course study to work in the real world except for several loans I have taken out.... I knew it would pay off somewhere in life!!

I like to help students discover the solutions and answers on their own. I am here to help guide them in the right direction not to provide the answer.
I spent the last several years preparing to become a teacher and have enjoyed every bit of it. I have spent time in the classroom, varying from 4th grade and up not only in math classes, which I will be teaching, but others as well. Although it was not necessary to get a Minor in Education to become a teacher, I decided that it would be in my best interest to gain as much knowledge on different teaching styles and approaches to developing my own classroom environment. All students have the ability to learn it just comes down to understanding the best way to help a student achieve at the highest level possible.

I have a BS in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. I have over 7 years experience in all kinds of alaysis and risk management. I have also been in charge of teaching and guiding over 30 office supervisors within medical clinics of their budgets and financials.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is in form of participation. I like my students to be part of the lessons. I believe teaching (or education) is not a one person show. The best way for to students to learn is by making them participate. It is not just a matter of giving lectures and tests. It is a matter of involving them also in the lectures.
I am a native French and English speaker with a bachelor degree in Business Administration with specialization in Information Systems. Teaching has been something I have done a great deal of my life no matter what path I was on. When I was in nursing school, patient teaching was a strong point of mine. I love children. I am patient, kind and believe in utilizing intrinsic and extrinsic forms of lessons so that children develop a love of learning and see the short term rewards and long term rewards.My goal is to help a student succeed.
I am currently heading for a BS in Elementary Education while I am home schooling my children. I have home school grades 6-11. I have accomplished raising reading levels within 6 months past 2 grades past level. I have tutored and home schooled children outside my own and have been asked to assist children with reading.
