Even as a kid, I loved to teach and to learn. I like the one on one aspect of tutoring. I enjoy teaching, but I really like tutoring because I get to know the child and am able to help him/her with his or her specific area of need. I like to make learning fun by playing learning games with the student. I am a Christian and I believe all children are unique and have their own abilities. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Northeastern University with my BA in Pscyhology and my MAT in Elementary Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher. From the time I was in high school I worked to have as much experience working with children as I could. My full year of student teaching was fulfilled at Josiah Quincy Elementary in downtown Boston. I worked in two classrooms, 1st grade and Kindergarden, under two of the best teachers I have ever met. This experience gave me great knowledge in teaching reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and social and behavior skills to young children, including many second language learners.
