MCAT is one of my top subjects! I took the NEW MCAT 2015 May 22. I scored in the 95th percentile. The last person I tutored scored in the 98th percentile.

I am a Senior at the University of Michigan double majoring in Biomolecular Science and Anthropology. I took the NEW MCAT on May 22nd, 2015 and I scored in the 95th percentile. I think the best way to teach is to show students how they can break down problems and find answers to questions that may, at first glance, seem overwhelming. I have yet to meet someone who is incapable of grasping a subject, and I am able to stay calm and remain patient as students begin to expand their knowledge in areas that are new to them. While I am not able to learn things for a student, my job as a tutor is to provide them with the encouragement, support, and knowledge that I have so that they can obtain an understanding of their subject.
As a recent college graduate, the stress, confusion, and (ultimately) joy involved in the attempt to master new subjects are fresh in my memory.
