I have gone through a lot of different experiences throughout life, and I'm more than happy to help and share those experiences if you'd allow me. I started playing piano at a very young age (7 years old) and afterwards started to pick up other instruments along the way which resulted in all county for Tuba (3rd chair 2010) and in that same year becoming a drum major. I've learned much about music theory, as well as keeping up with every other course I selected while in school. I have experience in the military and with that comes a level of professionalism that can easily be seen once eyes are set upon me. Before the military I was an intern for many different jobs at MacDill AFB and that simply added to my knowledge including theater, and how to help other unlock their hidden potential for drama! I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Learning can be fun as long as you can relate it to something that the child is interested in. Gaining the knowledge that is taught in middle school and high school only helps the child to further education. I believe learning should be fun and enjoyable. I am very patient and take pride in producing positive results.
I obtained my Associates of Science Degree in Biology at Macon State College completing courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Calculus. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching for the past 7 years of my life, and truly enjoy helping students learn. I taught for four years in Florida's Broward County School System, and I have just completed my second year in Houston County's School System. I have taught middle school language arts every year during my teaching career, but I am certified to teach on the high school level.
I believe that teaching and learning should be both an enjoyable and painful experience at times. I realize that we all have days in which learning is not quite what we want to do, but it is what we have to do. I also realize that interactive and challenging assignments can win any student over.
