I have worked in the Education field for 9 years. I started off as a substitute teacher and later became a "permanent substitute" in 2002. In this same year, I also became a class monitor for Psycho-Edu with the Johnson Co. School System. These jobs both required me to help teach elementary students in every subject.
My goal as a teacher is to help children appreciate learning and have fun while doing. I beleive that we all learn in different ways and a person should use a learning strategy that works best for them. I am available to help your child succeed academically. A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained my Associates of Science Degree in Biology at Macon State College completing courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Calculus. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. At Valdosta State University, I completed courses such Microbiology, Molecular Genetics of DNA, Animal Physiology, Protein Biochemistry, and Statistics. With these courses came laboratory experience which has allowed me to strengthen my skills in writing laboratory reports. I also have experience in writing essays and research papers. I have tutored and mentored students in middle school and high school science and mathematics.
