I try to use various activities and techniques when teaching to keep students interested. This also helps them (and me) to determine the way(s) that they learn best. My strongest suit in my teaching style is probably the many ways that I would approach teaching a certain principle. If the student does not understand one way to approach a problem, I try to best to help them understand and learn another way. I feel like since everyone learns differently, a tutor should approach a problem from as many angles as possible. My teaching style is also very patient. I suppose the saying "give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime" would apply to my style. I try to make sure the student understands the principles behind the type of problem and not just how to do the one problem.
