Poetry is one of my top subjects!

A mix of hands on and hands off learning. Highly fond of the socratic method of teaching by guiding the pupil in the direction they need to go and letting them discover the solution organically. Direction and help are given directly when needed.
I have a degree in English an Communications which makes me proficient in understanding literature, and how it is received by the public. My philosophy is that education is power. Knowledge is our greatest defense and our greatest weapon. Through knowledge we gain experience, which enriches our competence, which protests the ills of society, which leads to a social justice, and most important, liberty. Learning is an activity that we should never stop, and if we do, we begin to die. I believe all children can learn given the appropriate avenues to success.
