If anyone is looking for a tutor, I would be willing to help. I'm a senior in college studying math and physics. I got a 35 on the math portion of my ACT. I have multiple undergraduate research experiences in mathematics. Both of those research projects have been presented at math conferences. My comments on tutoring Algebra : Received an A in all Algebra classes, including Honors Algebra in high school, College Algebra (taken in high school, and again in 2003 while attending Millikin). I received a special honor on a project in my high school College Algebra class. I have tutored junior high and high school students in algebra, and also tutored for junior high algebra within the Decatur Public School District while working as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hill Magnet School.

I am a natural teacher - it's what I do when I'm not getting paid. I just like to share knowledge of what, why, when, where, and how. This ensures that each student in the class is following, or else they lose their turn to read. If I'm working w/ a student w/ poor reading skills, I allow them to read, and help them w/ the difficult words, encouraging them to sound out the word.
