Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects!

I have excelled in Math as far as I can remember, I have a couple of years of College completed and am currently getting back into school this summer/fall. I've never received below a B in a math class during high school, and never below an A in college. Math 102/1020 is the highest Math class I have taken.

Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects!

I don't know if you could say that I have a "style" but I am all about seeing what they know first and giving them hints here and there so that they come to the understanding on their own and if it is needed I can show them how to do it and help them replicate it.
I have a love for learning and helping others learn. I am currently in college to become an Elementary School teacher and I have really emphasized on math. After finishing my Masters Degree in Education I taught one year in a private school then opened my own business tutoring primarily homeschool students during the school year. The students I have worked with are primarily ages 11-18, but my experience with my own children includes the primary grades. I have tutored most subjects including reading, writing, science, history and math (through algebra).
I believe that children are born smart. Some of them have special learning challenges and some have been taught to believe that they are not smart.
