I received my undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in Earth & Space Science. I then went on to get my masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Bloomsburg University also. I am currently waiting to receive my Pennsylvania State teaching certificate, I will then be certified to teach Secondary Education (grades 7-12) Earth & Space Science. I had the experience of student teaching in both a high school and middle school setting. I student taught 7th grade general science, 9th grade introduction to Biology, and a 12th grade Earth Science class.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a Business Administration major, I have had extensive schooling in all realms of business, accounting, and finance. In my earlier years, I had extensive exposure to math of all levels, as well. Additionally, I am very strong in English, even having edited a book and written the foreword for it. During my early college years I was employed in the Tutoring Lab and volunteered at the YMCA; more recently I have tutored individuals on an as-needed basis.

I graduated with a degree in earth science education in 1995. I worked for several years as a substitute teacher and then returned to college to gain biology certification. I worked at a local high school for five years teaching seventh grade science and senior high general science. For the last six years I have worked for a head start program.
