My comments on tutoring Writing : I have always been a writer, ever since I can remember. I am a certified English and French teacher with 18 years of experience.

I am a certified teacher of French and English; I have taught both subjects at the middle and high school levels for 18 years. In addition, I have 6 years of tutoring experience before becoming a teacher. I have worked with students of all ages, elementary through college. I am one course shy of my Masters' in French. I have worked with inner-city middle school students for more than 10 years, through a program called "Math Corps." (Google it.)
My teaching style...? I do not have only one; part of the point of tutoring is the ability to truly tailor styles/strategies to individuals or small groups. I must say that I am the funniest person I know, and I crack myself up all the time. Humor is always one of my favorite/best strategies.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a student enrolled in Wayne State University in the undergraduate program for English. I have studied English for over five years which includes reading comprehension, language, creative writing, and academic prep. Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them.
