GED is one of my top subjects! I have extensively tutored GED math for over eight years, both as part of a GED tutoring program and on my own. I have taught many students all of the GED math topics, from the basics such as arithmetic and fractions to the more advanced topics, such as algebra and geometry.

For over nine years I have extensively tutored all of the topics covered by the math section of the Praxis exam, including Praxis Core Math (5732) and Praxis Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects, Mathematics Subtest (5001/5003). Math Tutor! Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry!

My tutoring style is explaining the concept in the simplest possible terms and then practicing a few problems with the student. Then when I see the client has grasped the concept, I move on. I do not believe in rushing the student because I know how frustrating it is when one does not understand something.
I have tutored algebra 1 and 2, college algebra, intermediate algebra, pre-calculus, and geometry. My best subject is mathematics. On the SAT math section, I scored a 700 with the highest score being 800. When I was a freshman high school, I tutored students older than myself in subjects such as Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry. My comments on tutoring GED : Have experience in teaching for the GED test in an individual setting.

I believe in tutoring so that the child receives feedback and fully understands his/her own limitations and how to overcome obstacles in class. Many children lack positivity in the methodology! I also believe that using art instruction helps children to learn in a more creative manner.
