I have always enjoyed teaching. When i was in college I used to teach my juniors in subjects that they needed help in. My notes in college became very popular and are still being used today. I have taught at University of DC to a group of students for which I received very positive feedback. I have a done quite a few seminars in and out of college. I love to teach and enjoy the opportunity to pass on the information to others.
I make sure that every topic that i go over is clearly understood. A clear sense of understanding can make any "boring" subject more interesting and fun to learn. My teaching style varies, depending on what the individual student needs, but it is always driven by an enthusiasm and verve for education (particularly in science) that I have been told is infectious (not a great thing to say to a biologist, but it's the thought that counts). Learning is most effective when the learner understands the importance of the material to their interests and the world around them.
