I have a very methodical teaching style. I will typically teach sections by working a problem as I explain it to the student then deriving a step-by-step process for the student to apply.

I have found that many students are over-whelmed by material and do not see any application for the material, and thus they do not have the desire needed to absorb the material. I strive to make the material fun and break it down to small units so that it is easily absorbed.

I believe however the child needs the information, is how I will teach. Children have many different styles of learning and you have to be flexible for them to become successful. I believe Mathematics can be fun and entertaining. I want the best for every child out there.
I worked at Learning Center in Tupelo, MS for a year as a proctor for government issued tests and a mathematics tutor. I have not received my Elementary Education Bachelor's Degree yet, however, I am in the process of receiving it. I will graduate Dec. 2011. I have taken 21 hours in Mathematics so far at the college level, and love working with children. I have had to tutor from first grade to college level. As a Math graduate, I wanted to remove hesitation and fear of students for this subject and I became a Math tutor. I have taught advance Math (Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus) at High Schools and also done tutoring for these subjects.
