2 years in-country living experience. Bachelor's Degree with a major of Russian Language and Literature and a minor in Political Science. Oral Proficiency Interview (Russian) Advanced Mid (my professor felt that I earned Advanced High). Very proficient in the spoken Russian language. I received my degree at BYU, a university with one of the most prestigious Slavic departments in the nation.

I lived two years in Russia to serve a church mission. I was required to learn the Russian language, experience Russian culture first hand, and interact with Russians on a daily basis. I enjoyed my experience in Russia so much that I made Russian Lang. and Lit. my major. I have 5 years of experience of learning and utilizing the Russian language and learning about the Russian culture.
