When I was 12-13 years old, I started learning Spanish. I am now 22 years old and am pretty proficient in Spanish. Also, I tutor Business Law a little bit. I have taken a course at Suny Cobleskill along with Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Writing and English is something that I am very good at. I graduated in 2005 from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a concentration in Spanish. I am a strong believer in mastering a topic as opposed to spitting out the correct response. I also believe in finding one’s main learning style and teaching to it, not that of the masses. The classroom environment seeks to teach the most people the most knowledge in a single shot. Tutoring should seek to teach an individual to their greatest potential. As a teacher of English (ESL) and Spanish, my insight lies in the experience of being a second language learner.
