Worked as an adjunct English instructor at Voronezh State Pedagogical University 2005 - 2006. 2008 - 2011 attended Chongqing Normal University in China, received a certificate for completion of a three year series of courses in Chinese Language and Culture, passed the Hanban/Confucius Institute HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Level 5 (Level 6 is the highest)
Native speakers are better language teachers only at the advanced level. For beginning - intermediate level, a teacher who has learned a foreign language is better than a native speaker. I have a clear explanation for many of the problems you are facing, whereas a native speaker may just confuse you more.

At Bowdoin College, I was Russian Club President, won the school's Russian Department Prize in 2009, and maintained a 3.8 GPA within the Russian department.I found my experience working as a substitute teacher incredibly rewarding. The student-teacher relationship naturally appeals to me. It is in my opinion a symbiotic relationship. I personally learn by teaching, it helps me to process information.
