My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Planned and implemented a clerical/computer training program for unemployed adults. Taught them resume and interview skills. Set up externships at nonprofit agencies so they would gain real experience in an office. Developed and delivered workforce development training in secretarial and computer skills to assist in job placement. Facilitated job clubs and workshops. Maintained postings to website.
