My comments on tutoring Painting : My undergraduate degree is in Visual Arts.

I have taught 5th Grade Math and Science, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade as an Interventionist, Kindergarten, and most recently Advanced Math and Language Arts / ESOL/CIVICS in and Adult GED/HiSet program. I have the ability to motivate and light the fire of interest in my students by incorporating in my teaching full emersion projects. Using an approach that fully immerses my students in the subject they are learning gives them the opportunity to learn firsthand instead of being merely a receiver of information. I have earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University. I have more than 100 hours of volunteer experience in all fields of area due to being in organizations like Alpha Phi Omega, Phi Sigma Pi and President's Pride throughout my college career. I believe I'm qualified to teach computers because I use it everyday and know basically most of all the Microsoft Office. English/LA and Social Studies probably not as qualified but I know the basics, if I did not I would not have a Bachelor's degree right now.

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in history. I currently am enrolled at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to obtain a Masters Degree in Education with a license to teach in the state of Tennessee in the middle grades. I have worked as a nanny during undergraduate for a couple different families. I have also worked through the YMCA as an after school teacher where I helped students K-6 with their homework. After graduating with a BA is History, I have worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, a Kindergarten Substitute Teacher, and an after school teacher for children 4 years through kindergarten.
I enjoy working with children, however, I don't feel I have one teaching style. I like to be able to adapt to how the children learn the best. My favorite teaching style is hands on activities such as experiments and crafts. I take pride in my creativity.

I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders. My partner and I were in charge of making lesson plans and fulfilling these plans for each class. I really enjoyed seeing the children get excited about learning.
