Learning Can be Fun!

I have tutored children in group and individual piano lessons. I have tutored them in math and social studies. I have spent over 20 years in business in the accounting field and prepared countless financial statements and income tax returns. I am skilled in all things mathematical. I also speak Spanish through over 9 years of instruction.
I like to allow the student to read the material once and clarity any areas that need more explanation. Then I will allow them to answer questions from the material read and help them where needed to choose the correct answer and understand the reason for the answers. I like to reward a certain level of correct answers with points that can be redeemed for interesting small prizes. I also consider myself very patient and interested in the student having a strong foundation for future learning.

Online Music Lessons and Elementary Test Prep/Homework Help

I am currently a general music teacher at Samsula Academy, an elementary school in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I teach general music classes to students in grades K-5, as well as chorus and band. I received my Bachelor's degree from Marywood University in Scranton, PA and began my Master's studies at University of Central Florida. I currently aspire to study Irish traditional music in Ireland in the near future, and would continue to offer online tutoring services during those studies. I teach either one on one or in groups with the same subject, depending on how many students I get.
I have been taking classes at Daytona State for 1 semester, but like my credentials said, I have gotten awards through them from my Middle School, and high school. I have been tutoring since 2003.
