As a young adult, freshly graduated from high school at the age of nineteen, I chose to enlist in the military to, among other things, have the opportunity to travel and experience other diverse cultures throughout the world. Along to way to obtaining my various degrees, my sentiment changed from achieving an accounting degree to achieving more knowledge in multiple areas. I pursued this avenue in order to expand my horizons as well as my marketability upon graduation. Instead of becoming a graduate with a degree in accounting, I became a multiple graduate with knowledge in many different areas, including accounting and financial management.
