In addition, I was the kind of friend that was reliable in understanding course concepts, so most of my friends and some other peers were coming to me for help. I have dedicated the majority of my adult life to reaching and teaching others so that they may reach their potential. For the past thirty years, I have taught Sunday school, youth groups, theatre students, women's groups and most recently high school students in the Dakota Valley School District. I love working with children and helping fulfill their potential. I like at children as water that must be directed in the right direction. I will do this my trying to find research validated methods of teaching that teaching to all the learning styles. If the child does not learn the first time I will try again and again until they have got it. As a teacher with dyslexia I felt that I was unable to teach reading to my students. I went in search of more training and found Alphabetic Phonics a Orton Gillingham program. I have sense used what I learn in the almost 160 hours of training with 11 students and seen progress in all of them.

I have extensive knowledge in the Sciences with six years of biology classes behind me. I have also tutored fellow students in Biology and Chemistry while earning my bachelor's degree. From there, I taught Biology labs (General Zoology, Marine Vertebrates) while earning my master's degree. And now, I am a college Anatomy & Physiology professor.
