A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching in the elementary and middle school classrooms for 13 years. I have worked as an after school tutor during many school years with 5-12 graders. In addition to the tutoring, I also directed an after school gifted and talented program where students engineered, designed, and created new inventions. I was a counselor at Camp Invention during the year 2011 which was another opportunity to engage students in learning outside of the classroom. My comments on tutoring Special Education : I already have my AA degree and am going to school to be a special education teacher.

I have been working as a student worker at Blue River Community College for the past few years. I really enjoy being able to help students study and learn. I graduated with my Associates this year and am pursuing a teaching degree. I have also had experience with helping tutor the children of freinds and family. I am able to and have exerience working with ages from elementary school students all the way up to college students.
I like to help students find out how they learn best by asking questions and through learning style tests.
