Composition is one of my top subjects! I've taught reading, writing and composition at the collegiate level. I'm currently a PhD candidate in Educational Studies at Eastern Michigan University. As a graduate assistant with the GEAR UP program at Eastern, I tutored eighth grade students in various subject areas, with English and writing being my specialty.

A Little Bit About Me...

Composition is one of my top subjects!

English and Writing CAN be Fun!

The collaborative learning approach, where students are encouraged to discuss what and how they're learning, is most effective. Students tend to engage much better with course material when the instructor has discussions with them, as opposed to lecturing at them.
Since being awarded a master's degree in 2008, I've taught English composition, literature, and reading comprehension courses at Wayne State University, Henry Ford Community College, Oakland Community College, and Jackson Community College.
