Mandarin Chinese major at Michigan State University. Traveled to China for study twice, each for a 3 month duration. Lived with a native Chinese speaker for 1 year in apartment where 90% of communication was done in Chinese. I received a 3.5 overall GPA in Mandarin and I received a second Study abroad diploma while studying in China. Our classes were 7 hours a day, only speaking Chinese.
