As you can tell, from all of my degrees, I value education. It is a passion of mine to help explain complex subject matter to students that don't find the subject matter easy. I have found that strong students are very easy to teach. If you give them a problem, they will just work at it until they learn it. Weaker students aren't always weak, sometimes, they may just be different kinds of learners. I think everyone deserves to have access to quality education because a more educated society is a more productive society.
As a non-traditional student, I was able to gain a unique educational experience. I started off earning multiple degrees at a community college, then transferred to Temple to study Actuarial Science. Most of my teaching experience is from one to one tutoring. I have tutored over 20 students and always received compliments regarding my reliability, punctuality, style and patience. I have tutored for students with ages raging from 14 to 25 years old and included algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, etc. I worked as an 8th grade math teacher for a Catholic School as well. I lectured algebra and geometry to 3 different groups of 50 to 55 students.
My one to one teaching style is tailored to adapt to the students learning style. However, my experience shows that keeping the student active during the learning process promotes a better learning. I am graduated from D. I. Mendeleev in Moscow, Russia. I have earned a MS in Electrical Engineering which enabled me to gain understanding in many areas of math and science. I am specialized in the area of Information Systems with extensive working experience since 1990. A Little Bit About Me...

I teach by asking questions that force students to learn the material rather than memorizing steps to solve problems. I also use examples, sometimes not in the subject being taught, to explain a concept. A student can expect me to be a resourceful tutor who will motivate him or her to succeed.
I am a former student at University of Central Florida where I was a tutor for the Department of Finance and Real Estate. I also tutored my colleagues in subjects such as accounting and algebra.
