Violin, Viola or Cello lessons

I work to promote joy in learning and for the instrument itself. I myself learned through the Suzuki Method but am flexible to use the series preferred by the Palm Coast Youth Orchestra. My own children are involved with this group so I am familiar with the techniques and resources.
I am a certified teacher and have been teaching for 12 years in the elementary and middle school setting. While I am a math and science teacher, I have enjoyed playing and providing lessons for string instruments for 30 years. I have played the violin in the Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra and the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestras. I have experience in teaching beginner violin and cello students.

I graduated from Moscow State University, Foreign Languages Department as a teacher, translator and interpreter of English. Also I took special course in teaching Russian as a foreign language. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a highly regarded private school I was able to expand on what I had already learned being a music prodigy and traveled through 5 countries in Europe on music scholarship I added Education to that experience and have not only some very good experience in the Arts but obtained a Masters' Equivalent in Social Services as well as over 6 years experience in ESE. I am highly qualified in ESE Language Arts, have taught Consumer Math as well and I am highly qualified in Music.
I have always been of the opinion that a teachers' job is to inspire students and assist them in becoming the best they can be in life. I am patient and have an innate ability to know what a student needs to learn and how they learn.I believe in a combination of structure, enjoyment and imagination while learning. Students have personally thanked me for what I taught them.
